Warm Up Saranac

Help us replace our waterfront hot tub and essential safety upgrades at The Residence by December 31st.

At Saranac Village, life-changing ministry happens through shared moments, deep conversations, and total immersion in the beauty of the Adirondacks. After 50 years, two key facilities no longer meet our standards.

When campers plunge into freezing mountain waters, they rely on our hot tub to warm up and build trust with their leaders. But because our old tub has reached the end of its life and is out of commission, we need a complete replacement across the water. At the same time, our year-round interns need a safe, dedicated space to recharge, requiring critical safety and facility upgrades at The Residence.

Together, fully funding these two vital projects requires a total investment of $442,595.

The Waterfront Hot Tub Replacement — $368,650

Replacing our legacy tub requires purchasing an 18-person commercial steel spa, barging heavy equipment across Upper Saranac Lake, and completing extensive site work—including specialized electrical, plumbing, a supporting steel frame, and essential dock repairs.

The Residence Safety & Facility Upgrades — $73,945

To bring intern housing fully up to code and ensure our staff stays protected, we are installing a complete fire sprinkler system, alongside necessary garage updates and new carpeting. Currently, our interns are temporarily housed in the Adult Guest Lodge (with a few overflowing onto Beth’s and my couch!). Completing this project gives our interns a safe home of their own and reopens the Adult Guest Lodge to you and our guests.
